Prof. Thomas Möllers's book the Newest Developments in European Capital Markets Law was published by the China University of Political Science and Law Press in May 2016. This book was translated by Shen Liuhua, Li Hai and others, and funded by the 2015-2018 EU Jean Monnet Programme (Contract Number 2015-2285/001-001) led by Prof. Zhang Tong, and is also one of the 'EU Jean Monnet Project Series'.
Prof. Möllers is the Executive Dean of Faculty of Law of University of Augsburg, Germany, the Jean Monnet Chair and personam of the EU Law, and a well-known scholar of European capital market law. This book is a collection of 13 representative papers by Prof. Möllers in the fields of capital market law, corporate law, and anti-unfair competition law. From the EU and German levels, these papers discuss the issues of corporate governance in Germany and Europe, the problem of information overload in the capital market, the protection of collective rights in economic law, the regulation of hedge funds and private equity funds, and the rectification and responsibility of credit rating agencies, reflecting the latest development trend of capital market law in the EU and Germany.
