The book Research on the Regulation of Digital Content and Service Contracts: From the Perspective of the EU, writtten by EU Jean Monnet Chair Professor and Director of the Centre for China-Europe/EU Legal Studies Prof. Zhang Tong, was published by the China University of Political Science and Law Press on 10 Nov, 2023.
It is the first book in China to study digital contracts in the EU, and it mainly includes 1) the current situation of the development of the digital economy and the challenges and legislative requirements in the field of contract law;2) the legislation on digital content and service contracts in the EU;3) the transformation of EU directives into several EU member states such as Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Austria;4) the personal data as contractual consideration in digital contracts;5) this book also studies the system convergence of digital content and service contracts in China's Civil Code, Consumer Rights Protection Law, E-Commerce Law, Personal Information Protection Law and other existing laws, and puts forward suggestions.
