Prof. Zhang Tong from the College, invited by the "Silk Road Law Lecture" of the Gansu University of Political Science and Law, gave a lecture entitled the Exercise of the Right of Personal Information Protection in the Civil Code to the teachers and postgraduate students of the university on campus in Lanzhou on 15 July, 2020. The lecture was moderated by Prof. Wang Lili from the School of Civil, Commercial and Economic Law.

Zhang Tong interpreted the legal norms of the personal information protection system in the country's civil code from three aspects, the construction of the legal norm system of the personal information protection, the basis of the right to claim the personal information protection and the sequential retrieval of the right to claim the personal information protection. The lecture was clear and fascinating, leading the audiences to in-depth thinking and a heated discussion on the basis of personal information protection right of claim.
