Artificial intelligence (AI) involves many policies, legal issues and ethical issues, such as driverless vehicles, personal information protection, algorithm regulation, etc.


In order to improve the studies in this new legal field, the College of Comparative Law of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) gathered scholars from different law schools of the University and adjunct researchers from outside, establishing the Research Centre for AI Law in 2018.
