The new book Studies on Technical Regulations, edited by Professor Liu Jingwei of the College, has recently been published by Xiamen University Press.

This volume represents a key outcome of the 2021 National Social Science Fund Major Project, titled ‘Research on Technical Regulations from the Perspectives of the Rule of Law, National Governance and Global Governance’ (Project No. 21&ZD192), led by Professor Liu. It is also the first monograph in China dedicated to the study of technical regulations.

The book contains 15 research articles, three translated pieces, and two interview articles originally published in China Standardisation, comprising a total of 420,000 words. Many of the chapters break new ground in China, offering readers a fresh theoretical field in legal scholarship—the study of technical regulations.
