The College held its sixteenth General Assembly for Election of the Student Union on Haidian Campus on the evening of 22 Sept, 2024.

Student Tutor Yang Mingquan, nominees of sixteenth SU board and student representatives attended this event. The member of fifteenth board Chen Qishan moderated the meeting.

Firstly, Liu Jing, President of the College SU, gave a debriefing report. In the report, Yang summed up the results and experience of student work in the union during the past year, and put forward her ideas for the work of the new union board.

Subsequently, the attendees deliberated and voted on the statutes of the SU, and then voted to pass the list of secretary-general candidates, supervisors and the election rules. Candidates for the presidium and the departments made excellent campaign speeches based on personal experience and departmental work planning respectively.

During the vote counting, the participating members learnt a video lesson on the Educationist Spirit.

After voting by student representatives, the 3 leaders for the presidium and 10 heads for the departments of the sixteenth College Student Union were elected. They are Mou Shuxin, Chang Jianing and Dai Tianjiao (Presidium), Wang Yuhan and Li Jiayi (Office Director and Deputy Director), Gao Jingna and Yan Jiayu (Academic Director and Deputy Director), Ma Zihan and Zhao Chenye (Practice Director and Deputy Director), Feng Yuqian and Fan Zhiyang (Art & Sports Director and Deputy Director) and Liao Yiyuan and Wang Jinni (Publicity Director and Deputy Director).
