Dean of the School of Law of Fordham University Prof. Matthew Diller gave a lecture on the Sources of U.S. Presidential Power and Their Limitationson the afternoon of 13 March, 2017. Associate Dean of the College Prof. Xie Libin moderated the lecture. Prof. Miller discussed the contours of U.S. presidential powers with examples of recent challenges and obstacles faced by the Trump administration.He analyzed the sources of presidential powers in the U.S., the legal and practical constraints of presidential power, and the roles other branches of government play.
