The College held a Spring Festival Gathering at the dawn of the New Year in the College Conference Room on Haidian Campus on the afternoon of 28 Dec, 2023.

The whole of college faculty who are still in Beijing gathered together to bid farewell to the old and welcome the new. The meeting was moderated by Chair of the College Council Wang Fang.

Dean Xie Zhiyong first reviewed the achievements of the college in 2023 in teaching, scientific research, discipline development, international exchanges, social services and the operation of the Journal of Comparative Law and the work plan of 2024 was also prospected.

After that, faculty members from each institute, the Editorial Office of the Journal of Comparative Law and the College Administrative Office spoke one by one. The teaching staff put forward their opinions, suggestions and expectations on certain specific events of the college, the development of young lecturers, the enhancement of the teaching and research team and the relevant regulations of the University. Everyone talked about their thoughts on work and life this year, and encouraged each other to meet new challenges and opportunities with a positive attitude, contributing their strength to the development of the college.

At last, Wang Fang expressed her gratitude to the faculty for their dedication and support, and wished everyone good health and greater development and achievements in the New Year.
