Class Meeting on Reading, Writing and Growth of Internationalised Legal Talents Experimental Class held

In order to improve the communication between teachers and students and the training quality of the programme, the College organised a class meeting on Reading, Writing and Growth for the students of the Internationalised Legal Talents Experimental Class on the morning of 24 Nov, 2022.


The seminar was divided into three parts, the Dean's speech, teacher representatives' speech and Q&A session. Dean of the College & Tutor of the Class Xie Zhiyong and three teacher representatives, Yuan Yi, Pan Deng and Mou Xiankui, were invited to attend the meeting. Administrator of Academic Affairs Sun Yang participated in the meeting. The class was held online and moderated by the Student Tutor Yang Mingquan.



Xie Zhiyong highly affirmed the significance and form of the class meeting. He hoped that the students could gain more knowledge through purposeful reading in addition to course study, attach importance to essay writing training, learn to cultivate legal thinking in life and strive for becoming foreign-related legal talents meeting the country and national rejuvenation's needs in the new era.



Yuan Yi, Pan Deng and Mou Xiankui, in response to the students' questions, shared their valuable experience and suggestions on dissertation writing, academic planning, employment prospects and other aspects, combing with their own study and work experience. They encouraged the students to improve the ability of comprehensive problem-solving, to master skills and to hone will for laying a solid foundation for the realization of personal values.


Sun Yang and Yang Mingquan respectively introduced and interpreted the University's training scheme, major teaching arrangements, epidemic prevention and control requirements and management regulations on enrollment status, urging everyone to pay attention to physical and mental health during the epidemic and plan their study and life in advance.


Through this meeting, the students not only established a good view of learning, but gained guidance of personal development and planning. They said that this class helped them better clarify their personal goals and plan their career in an effort to contribute to the rule of law in China.
